One poor decision will haunt her forever.

Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She’s supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. But the cute fifteen year old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds herself face to face with Chester Woodran, a man capable of murder.

Distraught over his own missing daughter, Chester insists that Macy replace his lost girl. He locks Macy up, withholds food, and roughs her up, demanding that she call him dad. Under duress from his constant threats and mind games, her hold on reality starts to slip. Clinging to her memories is the only way of holding onto her true identity, not believing that she is Chester’s daughter. Otherwise she may never see her family again.

Gone is the first novel in the Gone saga, a trilogy of psychological suspense thrillers. If you enjoy page turning suspense with constant twists and turns, then you'll love this nail-biting read.

Definitely a teen novel, easy reading. I would say the quality of writing on the level of the twilight series.

I read the whole trilogy in just a few days...I can't remember the last time a story captured my attention so completely!

when I say I love this book! Like I mean I love this book. I read the whole trilogy and I had to get more books by the author, she understand a young adults mind like no other. I love to read but it is hard to find a author you like but I found one and I'm sticking with her. Right now I just read deception and I'm ready for the next book I believe is betrayal. Thank you Stacy
  • Horrible book

Horrible writing. Boring, uninteresting plot. No one in the right mind would believe in these characters. Has the writer ever heard people speak like his written dialogues? Jesus. Please take his laptop away

The book was very captivating. I became attached to the characters and enjoyed the storyline. But, I was extremely disappointed with the end of the book. There is no ending, it just stops. I am very confused and upset with this. I need closure.

  • Good read... until the end.

The book was on a good path. Things are finally being revealed. Then it just ends. No crescendo, just a literary cliff. Not sure if the other books pick up where this leaves off. It was a free download, so I'm not complaining. But it wasn't enough to make me pony up for the others.
  • Exiting

It's a really exciting book and it ends at a cliffhanger so you have to read the rest of the trilogy

I'm a HUGE fan of mystery/horror books/series and I can honestly say this book had my full attention and interest within the first chapter! I finished "Gone" in less than two days anxious to start the next book of the series. It's kind of disappointing that I have to pay for the next books. I'm sure I'll end up doing it anyway I'm sure it'll be worth it!
