This is book # 4 in the Shopping for A Billionaire series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding it is best to read this series in order. In this book Amanda and Declan's story continues with a fight. Can you get back together with someone who does not allow you to explain? The passion and fun is still present. They just have to learn to compromise and come together. How is it possible to keep meeting in the men's room? You will love finding out when you check out this hilarious and engaging installment to the series. I loved the character development and the honesty. I was fascinated from start to finish.

So here we are at the end of another series. Well the best was saved for last!! I laughed so hard I snorted in a few places. I don't want to spoil anything, but dang the situations these people get into!! I am often disappointed by books that are "split up" into more then one. I have never had that disappointment with ANY of Julia's books. Enjoy the laughs, and the HEA!!

Let me start by saying this was not my favorite series from Ms. Kent. I love her work, and I absolutely love how she can build characters and make them someone you want to get to know. Sometimes though, she goes too far in trying to get a laugh, too many irrelevant analogies and metaphors, and too much/ many crazy mishaps and circumstances that leave the characters in embarrassing situations. I love that she makes her characters real, not perfect, but sometimes it's just too much in one book. It makes you think "And why would someone so put together not find that nasty instead of cute in real life?" All that being said. I loved the last two parts of this serial. When all those extra things were stripped away or moderated, and the love story and the conflict became the real heart and focus of the story, that's when I started to get a feeling for the characters. I've said the same thing about her Random Acts series, I couldn't stand Darla's character at first, and wasn't that fond of the series. But the two last books, especially Random Acts of Hope, were fabulous! I love comedy, I love references to shows and books that I watch and read, but it gets old fast when it's on every page for the first 50 or so pages. With Shopping...4, she kept it to a minimum and focused on what I cared most about, Shannon and Declan and how to get to there HEA. Julia Kent continues to please and amaze. Some parts of a very small portion of a few of her books I could do without, but in the over all package it becomes insignificant. And as she continues to grow and find her voice as a writer she continues to only get better and better. Seriously, if you haven't read everything by her try it. She is an author on the rise, and I guarantee you'll find a few favorites.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I had been anxiously awaiting this final installment of the story, and I have to say I was definitely not disappointed. I absolutely loved it! Julia Kent’s fantastic flair for character development is really highlighted in this installment as we see almost as much from the supporting characters as we do from Shannon and Declan, and it makes for a highly engaging and entertaining story. You just can’t help but be drawn into this story and rooting for these two to make it work. Bottom line, if you want a story that is sweet, funny, sexy, crazy, thoughtful, and intriguing, then this is the book for you.

This was a great book and made me laugh out loud quite a bit. Loved it! Shannon's family is crazy but so is Declan's. But really, what is normal. Great job
  • Don't miss the conclusion to Shannon & Declan's story!

Ms. Kent's 'Shopping for a Billionaire' series concludes in Part 4 by bringing Shannon and Declan's story full circle (yes, there's another toilet incident!). Part 4 opens where part 3 left off...and I have to say Ms. Kent's writing had my heart aching right along with Shannon's. Declan has ended their relationship but not for any of the obvious reasons. And Shannon refuses to let him off easy. It was so rewarding to see her character finally realize that her feelings and emotions mattered as much as anyone else's. All that and more of the hysterically crazy moments that have become a hallmark of Ms. Kent's books make SFAB #4 an extremely satisfying end to a great story. ***An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review***

This is the last book in the series. And it picks up where Shannon and Declan are broken up and while she is trying to find out what happened she is at a crossroads in her job. And Declan's secrets might have played a part in the relationship break up. There is as always the LOL moments. Julia Kent did a fantastic job on this one.
