Lucky Morgan has had her share of heartbreak. She is devastated when her boyfriend dumps her after sleeping with him and she vows to herself that she won't be used again. She decides that the next guy she dates and sleeps with, will be her one true love.

Zane Beaumont is the mysterious and snooty guy that comes into her diner every Friday night with a different girl. He's the type of guy she's learned to avoid: carefree, fast, handsome, rich, and sarcastic. Unfortunately, she can't stop thinking about the devilish gleam in his eyes.

When Lucky's car breaks down one night after a party, it is Zane who comes to her rescue. As Zane attempts to sweep Lucky off of her feet, she soon realizes that nothing is as it seems and that Zane may very well be the guy for whom she changes the rules. That is until she meets Braydon.

New Adult Contemporary Romance **Mature Content** Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations and language.

The book started off great, loved the characters but then at the end omgggg urghhh wth happend did the writer just give up and wanted to finish it. This book could have been really great. The rushed and sappy ending ruined it for me . :/

I love Lucky & Zane's love story! He's so mysterious, gorgeous & caring. Lucky's just a normal college girl working in a diner. Whenever he comes into the diner with a different beautiful girl he causes Lucky to want to know him more. They both have such deep hurt feelings that won't let them move forward but they finally get past it.

I hadn't expected the book to be as good as it is. The humour really got to me. Humour is a way to the heart, yeah? Yup. I laughed for two minutes at the comment of "Fifty Shades of Christian". It was extremely comical! The characters were nice, the story was cute. It was not corny and I don't know why I read that in the reviews. It's stupid if people think that. Maybe they are not familiar with the English Language. The only problem was the lack of a grand plot even though the suspense was pretty cool. And the repetition of the name "Lucky" got to me, although I hate even the slightest repetitions anyways. At least it wasn't a repetition of "baby". Thank Allah.

This story puts the reader on an emotional roller coaster from the first page to the last page. You will wonder who is really the good guy in this story and who will the girl pick. Well written!

  • Easy read.

Zane brings dates to this diner ever Friday night, sits in the same booth and has the same waitress, Lucky who he gives large tips to. The stories got an interesting dialogue. It's definitely different. Not many characters who are waitresses get an opportunity to join the guy they want to be with as his assistant in a documentary. Zane runs both hot and cold with Lucky. Lucky lays her cards down for Zane letting him know exactly how she feels and what she wants. Basically, it's up to Zane to decide if he can get on board with Lucky's expectations. Once Lucky unveiled the truth behind Noah the whole story fell into place. Once the truth was revealed the story progressed at a very rapid rate. Zane went from one extreme to the next. The delivery was iffy. The subject matter was alright. The history part was more of an excuse to get the two together. The brother was used as a reason for Zane to hold back on love. Overall it was manageable.
  • Loved it!

Amazing book, not too much really happened but it's romantic for a guy who can't really express his feelings to a girl he clearly loves! Can't wait to read the next installment.
