#1 New York Times bestseller, and major motion picture. Read the sequel After You and Jojo’s new book, Paris for One.

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation and perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

This isn't your average romance novel. It's quite different from the rest which makes it an amazing book. You can't simply let it down but you don't want the book to end. Lou and Will are fascinating characters. It's a heartbreaking romance novel and it's not your average one where they break up and then go through "adventures" and end up together again. I love the movie but I love the book a bit more.

What an amazing book. Jojo just captures the readers attention right off of the bat and continues to amaze you with her writing skills throughout the whole book. Let me warn you though, you will want a box or two of tissues! It was a book I was unable to put down. I started it Sunday morning and finished the book by that afternoon. I loved this story and would recommend the book to anyone who is a book lover. It has such an amazing message and really gets you to think. Cannot wait to read another Moyes book!

  • Excellent story actors & presentation

I was reluctant to watch what I thought might be a boring old romance novel. I was wrong. This is a different kind of story, well told by the actors and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wondered, in fact, if it might actually be based on fact. In any case, it's not been a waste of time at all (because I saw it weeks ago and parts of it still crop to mind occasionally). My husband watched it with me (and he's not into "chick flics") and HE said it was a very good movie as well.
