Army painter Chris Peach has assembled a formidable force of Necrons from the Nihilakh Dynasty. Here he explains how to paint models from the Necron range in their distinctive turquoise and gold colours using the Citadel paint range.
Pretty much entirely useless. They have pictures of how to paint one model hardly anyone uses with a paint scheme I've never seen anyone use.
Waste of money
A 13 page booklet (pamphlet) on how to paint one model one specific set of colors. Not helpful to anyone really. Should be titled How to Paint Necron rather than Necrons.

13 pages of nothing but 1 painted model in 1 scheme
Deceptive and false
This "book" states it will show you how to paint the Necron army. It also states it is an Enhanced book that includes Video and other Interactive material. It has a 2 second video that is just of the Games Workshop logo (nothing else). It also only shows how to paint 1 model type, with 1 color partern. There are 20 other model types in the army that should also be shown based on the title of the book.
False, misleading and deceptive.
Offensive to anyone who plays a dynasty other than the nikiliak (or however one might spell that name). Should include at LEAST 3 - 4 of the different Necron dynasty's. Or at least change the title to say nihkilak instead of Necrons.
I expected more for the money. The whole thing is 13 pages. I thought there would be more than one chapter based on the picture.

Digital version of White Dwarf Nihilakh Dynasty Painting article
A worthwhile digital reference that doesn't require one to drag along your old White Dwarf issues to the paint table and it provides an excellent set of techniques for fielding a Nihilakh themed Necron army.
Digital Version of the Nihilakh painting article from White Dwarf.
Step by step sections are quite complete and have huge images for examples.
Digital format allows easy note taking (e.g. To write in old paint colors.)
Digital article has nice close ups that weren't available in the printed White Dwarf article.
Close up shots of Deathmarks (which weren't in the original article as easily visible images.) Warriors, Immortals etc.
No close up shots of the Ghost Ark, Annihilation Barge, Tomb Blades, Command Barge, Monolith, Night Scythe.
No 360 degree shots of any of the models.
Original White Dwarf article had a paint list and masterclass style breakdown of the full color sequence at the end of the article (a slightly more advanced version of what was provided in the step by step). This version doesn't have that page.
