Of all the beautiful women of history, none has left us such convincing proofs of her charms as Cleopatra, for the tide of Rome's destiny, and, therefore, that of the world, turned aside because of her beauty.
Mundane yet riveting...
By Saba Sattar
The book is comprised with piddling details about characters wouldn't care about. It focuses too much in depth about other characters rather than the protagonist herself. I still found the biography somewhat engaging and learnt a great deal of history. I would recommend this book to those who actually enjoy reading history.
