Description

Cassie Franklin trips over nothing on perfectly flat surfaces every day, and she cannot seem to be able to simultaneously speak and look into her audience’s eyes.
Cassandra Frank is the ultimate tease; her words have aroused, intrigued and captured the heart of thousands...
And somehow, they are the same person.
Hiding the fact that she writes erotica isn’t much of a challenge - no one would ever think that a plain, boring little accountant like Cassie could so much as read anything so scandalous...
But one day, she makes a huge mistake.
Carter Harris employs so many people he can’t exactly recall all their names, but strangely, he knows her. She isn’t an executive, she isn’t sexy, or otherwise noticeable, but the girl is cute - in a helpless, unique sort of way.
He can’t pretend to say she ever crosses his mind, though... Until the day he finds the manuscript she worked on during her lunch hour.

Shy girls write it better is an adult romance with explicit content. Standalone novel.</i>

Wonderful book by May Sage. Can't get enough of her writing. Her characters are entertaining, fun and sexy. The story is about Carter, CEO of his company and Cassie a "lowly" employee. Carter noticed Cassie from the first time he saw her. There was a mutual attraction from the beginning but Cassie was extremely shy and Carter didn't do relationships. And he sensed that Cassie was the type of woman that would not do casual flings. Everything was fine until one day Cassie grabbed the wrong folder, leaving behind her manuscript of her latest erotic novel. Carter found it and he had a whole new opinion of Cassie.

May Sage does it again! Absolutely wonderful at developing characters stories and fantastic storylines in short books is her jam! I loved every word and every minute of this book. Fun, witty, sexy, and well written. If you haven't read or listened to one of her books/audiobooks you are missing out!! I laughed, giggled and completely enjoyed this book. Just wished it would have been about 300 pages longer because I didn't want it to end!

This books could have been so great. It was funny, charming and sexy, but felt rushed towards the end and then poof, over. I think adding some chapters would definitely bump this up in stars.
  • Lots of grammatical errors

Would've rated higher if not for the misspellings. Also very short and ended abruptly but loved Carter and Cassie (and Lucy)!
  • Good book, terrible ending!

Good book, terrible ending. The story just stops, doesn't even feel like it wrapped up. When I read a book, I like there to at least BE an ending. Unfortunately that was the worst one I think I've ever read.

I loved the plot and concept, but I agree with the others that the ending was very abrupt. I was waiting to see a link to a sequel, but it never came! Loved it overall, but would love to read the sequel!

Really good!! Though I didn't like the ending(only because I like for the author to tell it), the author did leave room for reader imagination.

This book had great characters, but I was distracted so many times by typos and grammatical mistakes.
