Description

For ten thousand years, the Traitor Legions of the Chaos Space Marines have waged terrible wars of hate and vengeance upon the Imperium of Mankind. From the daemon worlds of the Eye of Terror, they plot the destruction of the empire they once helped to build. They have neither forgotten nor forgiven the loyalists, nor the False Emperor whom they serve. These warriors will not rest until the galaxy is burning, and the Emperor’s putrid carcass is cast down from the Golden Throne into the filth where it belongs. Traitor Legions is a supplement to Codex: Chaos Space Marines. It contains a wealth of additional content and rules that any Chaos Space Marines army can use, with a huge array of rules for all nine of the Traitor Legions, including a detachment for each as well as datasheets, formations, psychic powers and more. CONTENTS
– 9 detachments – one for each of the original nine Traitor Legions!
– 8 datasheets for characters and units from the World Eaters and Thousand Sons, including Khârn the Betrayer, Ahriman, Rubric Marines and Magnus the Red himself!
– 26 Chaos Space Marines formations that represent different archetypes and warbands from across the nine Traitor Legions, including the Kakophoni of the Emperor's Children, the Raptor Talons favoured by the Night Lords and a mighty Black Legion Warband.
– Chaos Artefacts, Warlord Traits and Tactical Objectives.
– Updated Psychic Disciplines of Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh, as well as the Sinistrum, Heretech, Ectomancy and Geomortis Disciplines.
– Armoury of the Chaos Space Marines

Reviews

  • Good Content, Bad Editing

    By Get an editor!
Lots of cool new content is included, however, there are editing mistakes, unfinished sentences, and incorrectly titled sections throughout the book. Sad to see that Games Workshop has yet to hire an editor who actually cares to read the digital versions of their codex entries.

Good source material, but some of the pop-up references are wrong. Some special rules refer to the wrong Legion.
