From the New York Times bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard and Stuck-Up Suit, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

Money or love? Which would you choose?
You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision.
For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot.
I needed to go far away to think it through.
As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.
Then, he left.
I thought I'd never see him again.
But fate had other plans.
Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.
The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.
Carter was dangerous and always on the move.
Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.
He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.
A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind.
I didn't know what to believe.
But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.
At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

Another wonderful, quirky, perky, physic, camel riding, monkey loving, arresting, heart warming love story from Vi and Penelope. This book was so much fun and adventure but be prepared for a tough patch for this great couple. You will fall in love with Carter and root for Kendall. Oh and look for a cameo from a beloved character. Enjoy!

I’ll just say that this story was totally different then anything I’ve read before. I loved the “road trip” that they took to fall in love. So awesome. Haven’t read anything by these people before. Loved it!
  • Fun & steamy, but not one of my favorites

    By Bookbruin
3.5 stars Playboy Pilot was an entertaining and steamy read. There were plenty of laughs (ahem, stolen pilot uniforms) and fantastic chemistry between Carter and Kendall, but I had a hard time really connecting to them. Granted, I'm not an overall fan of the manwhore reformed trope and Carter certainly lived up to the title, but I actually grew to like him much more than Kendall. I definitely enjoyed his sweeter side, but his arrogance and cocky attitude were just as hot. Kendall on the other hand just really confused me. I understand that she was at a crossroads in her life, but she just struck me as really immature and way too trusting. I'm all for living in the moment, but come on! I think the practical side of me couldn't get past that, even though the overall story was enjoyable. The drama and angst was predictable, but it still hurt my heart. I just wish that these two would have communicated with each other, instead of thinking the worst and making huge decisions based off these assumptions. I do recognize though that this gave both our characters time to re-evaluate their lives and feelings and to be honest with themselves. Overall, this was a fun and steamy read, but just wasn't one of my favorites by this amazing writing duo.

What can I say but WOW! Loved this story. Probably my favorite thus far by these two amazing authors. I loved Carter and Kendall and their banter back and forth. I laughed out loud on several occasions and had tears at a few others. A love story like no other with a lot of adventures in between for these two fascinating characters I will read this again and again.

Another great collaboration by Penelope and Vi. Loved Carter and Kendall, their adventures to falling in love. Found myself smiling through most of the story. A few sad moments as well. Just loved it.
  • Fate,Love and heartbreak

I laughed, sympathized, and cried. There were times I felt annoyed with Kendall and this is the reason I gave this book a 4 out 5 rating. She was seeming to grow as a character and then it makes her go backwards and fall down. The chapter following this made me upset and not interested in reading. It disappointment me because her character could have acted differently. Otherwise I recommend the read. Finished in a day. I wanted to find out what happened to the characters. This story started off with two lost people not knowing what they want in life and themselves. They meet and realize there is a strong attraction and attraction. Their lives are similar. As the story continues, Carter opens Kendall's eyes about the world. It is fate that got them together. Him being a playboy caused for heartbreak. Kendall still being unsure and lost, gives up and abandons love out of fear of heartbreak. Fate catches up again after a long time. Signs keep pushing the love together and to succeed.

This book made me want to go to the airport and look for a pilot. The journey of Carter and Kendall will make you want to frequent the airport to find what they finally ended up with. Bumps, twists, and turns made the book a great read. I couldn't put the book down I had to know how it ended. Another must read by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland.
