Harry Potter is midway through both his training as a wizard and his coming-of-age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the Quidditch World Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that's supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for hundreds of years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. But unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal - even by Wizarding standards.

And in his case, different can be deadly.

$10 and it won't download. Says it's not compatible with my iBooks app, yet they took my money. Stupid.

  • Great Book!

In this book Harry not only dealt with external struggle, but also with internal struggle. He learned and grew so much over the course of this book. He went head to head with Voldemort yet again. And yet again neither conquered the other. I'm exited to go deeper into JK Rowling's imagination in the next installments of Harry Potter.

This book has it all - it is clever, heartwarming, heartbreaking, suspenseful, and just a masterpiece. This is my favorite one in the series behind the 7th one. It's about the goblet of fire and the growing power of the dark side of magic. Here again we have everything woven together like a fine cross stitch. I remember when I first read this book - I was so astounded at the ending I went through the last 200 pages a second time! I do wish they kept the original covers but oh well. My favorite characters - Dumbledore and Hermoine.

There are pages in the book that seem to be missing, or at least sentences...from one page to the next in certain places there are pieces missing. I have read the books multiple times and this is the first iBook (for this series) I have read. I am not pleased with the flow, there is also no nighttime reading option. The pictures are neat but does not make up for missing parts of the text.
